Host Home Provider (HHP)

Forward Living is actively seeking energetic and professional Host Home Providers in the Colorado Springs area to offer a home to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities providing 24-hour care. Forward Living focuses on making lasting placements and will match an individual in services with you based on the compatibility of you, your family, and your home environment. Host Home Providers (HHP) offer an in-home placement to adults with disabilities of varying needs allowing each person to live in their own communities with the support they need to stay as independent as possible. Host Home Providers are contractors of Forward Living and receive competitive payments for the difficulty of care required for the person based on His/her Level scale. Forward Living provides comprehensive general training as well as specific training to the individual in care. Each (HHP) is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of an individual, respecting their personality, capabilities and hopes for the future. No two Host Homes look alike, and we are flexible in developing a residential support plan that matches your needs with the needs of a person seeking placement. (HHP) are providing opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to live in a home in their community.

Residential Coordinator

The Residential Coordinator oversees the daily operations of residential facilities for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Their primary responsibility is to create a safe, secure, and supportive living environment that encourages personal growth and community involvement. This role involves developing and implementing programs tailored to each resident's needs, ensuring regular assessments and progress monitoring, and providing training and support to staff. The coordinator manages daily schedules and activities, maintains compliance with budgetary and regulatory requirements, and fosters an inclusive atmosphere. Collaboration with community resources, service providers, and families is essential to enhance the support network for residents. Qualified candidates will have a background in social work, psychology, or a related field, along with experience in residential care for individuals with IDD. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are crucial, and the position offers opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment.
